I experienced similar things with my rabbits ;). When I just got a new one and wanted to befriend him with another bunny I have at home, they fought like crazy and I had to separate them (one of them ended losing 1/4 of her ears :(. Hopefully it would work out well with Poppadum and Obelix :).
I think it’s a natural process. They’ve got to decide on the ranking, right? Did they get along all right after that?
