Okay, so ‘coffee cake’ is actually a New York pastry, but the term can also refer to any pastry that goes with coffee/tea. Which is how I use it, because we call everything ‘koffiebroodje’ at home-home. :p
…Also, that’s totally coincidental rhyming.

Featuring: Tze
iimori (German website) is a small chain of bakeries, cafés and restaurants in Frankfurt. There’s one shop in Paris as well (but haven’t visited it yet). The stuff’s quite pricey but also unique, I think. They do lovely matcha latte and the iced espresso, also tasty, will keep you awake for a while (says someone who’s usually immune to caffeine).
