I check every ingredient list and look up synonyms for cow’s milk proteins and sugars…BUT I did eat products that said “May contain traces of…” because I assumed they’d be safe enough… :< Related post: Testing For Food Allergies (Final)

I’ve read about people developing soy allergies because all processed products nowadays seem to contain soy, but I never realised that so many products contained milk (in some form), too. Even some brands of sauerkraut are boiled/soaked in whey!
