Probably My Biggest Phobia

Featuring: Tze, Ben

…GRASS. I stay away from it. Because I can’t stand being around dark green grass on moist soil (ugh).
Yup, it’s a phobia. Don’t tell me to sit (or even lie down!) on it; I’ll run away.

For some strange reason I associate healthy grass with mud, snails, spiders and poo. It’s dirty. It’s nice to look at, but I don’t want to have anything to do with it. Unless I’m wearing platform boots.

Haha I know what you mean. I live in the U.S. and originally come from the far north where no animal or insect is very large or poisonous. Grass is generally harmless up there. Then I moved far, far south where all kinds of things are toxic and huge and scary. Now the grass not only has spiders, but the right spider can freakin’ kill you!

I tend to keep off the grass nowadays.

Huh! Okay we don’t have anything that dangerous, and I’m thinking more “Yuck!” than “Eep!” here. :D At least you’ve got a good reason to stay away from it…

And beware of the “Zecken” ;) They like to bite people who are laying in the grass D:

Eeeek! Recently voted as number one of the top 50 ‘Most hated animals’ in the Netherlands too. >_< Never seen one, never wanna!

Good thing you don’t like hot days, then, because you probably sit indoors with a fan, while other people want to go to the park to lie in the grass.

I’m okay with my picnic blanket to lie on… it has a bottom made of foil and it keeps all dirt from coming through the fabric…
