Featuring: alpacas
We witnessed this at the Frankfurt Zoo on Saturday… it was hilarious because of the lack of expression on their faces! And the comic was fun to draw.
There’s no mating going on here, just one male showing its dominance over the other. :p
Also, that last alpaca reminded me of David Bowie in Labyrinth…
We just stood there staring as well, it was… interesting.
The Frankfurt zoo isn’t particularly good, you usually get a good view of the animals but that’s because they have nowhere to go. :( I still go regularly because it only costs €8 to get in, and is basically around the corner for me. Something to do.
Went to the Cologne one last year, reviews online are negative but I thought it was very nice! Maybe because they redid some parts.

I see! I’m a big zoo fan so I may have to check it out anyway when I make it over to Frankfurt. The zoo on the west end of Berlin is great (they’ve got some really cool vultures…among others), and I’ve yet to check out the one in the east.
I heard about the Berlin one, it should be massive! Definitely want to check that one out.
