Oh yes, I go there too sometimes! Can’t browse long though because it’s a direct attack on my sensitive nose (sneeze attacks!).

Hahahaha… well, you’re on your way to using more “green” products! I try to buy more and more Ecover products (also, check out http://www.clairetco.com, though I’m not sure whether you can get these in Germany) but I recently failed big time because I got good ol’ fashioned “chloor” to disinfect the kitten litter box :S

Ohh how nice! But the website didn’t offer the possibility to select a country, no. :(
Bleach is needed sometimes, there’s only so much organic cleaners can do. Bad old grease stains also need something more aggressive (nail polish remover… sigh).

baby wipes are great for removing old stains. can’t be too many bad chemicals in them if they are used on a baby’s bum!

Ohh, interesting! But even generation-old grease stains? Not something you’d usually find on a baby’s bum? ;)

environmentally-friendly stuff is a waste of money- it is still “harmful” . Dont’t give in to the hype, just buy normal stuff!!! you can also use hair conditioner instead of fabric conditioner- it all contains the same chemicals!

    • Tze says:

It’s less harmful than the usual stuff. Of course, using greater amounts wouldn’t help anyway.
…Seriously, hair conditioner? No way! :D

You can use white vinegar (same stuff you use in cooking) in place of softener in your laundry. It doesn’t leave the vinegar smell either so it will just smell like what your laundry detergent smells like :)

…Wow! :O I never would’ve thought that. Doesn’t it harm some fabrics though? I guess silk could be a problem but I don’t own anything silk anyway… hmm, worth a try, thank you!
