In case you’re wondering what drink I’m making; it’s Apfelschorle…apple juice mixed with sparkling water. I found it disgusting and cheap when I had it the first time (“They water down apple juice?!”) but I’ve learnt to love it. It’s refreshing!
wish it was warm here!
I’m a comic-drawing Asian girl in Germany, too! And Apfelschorle is awesome! As is Berliner Weiss…!
Oh? Never heard of Berliner Weiss before… *Wiki* Hmm, not too fond of beer– oh! You can mix it with cordial? I’d try that!
Okay… your illustrations are adorable. I want MORE Asian factsheets! And also can’t cook rice in a pot. Well, I almost can. It involves adding too much water and draining and UGH.
Thank you for visiting!
Thank YOU for visiting and I’m so flattered! I found your link on Octopus Pie, I think? I love your blog! And so awesome to find other Asian comic-bloggers around the world. Have you already checked out pigsinmaputo.blogspot.com? It’s by a Chinese-Brazilian woman living in Mozambique. I mean, does it get anymore multikulti than that?
Anyway! Looking forward to more updates! :)
Thanks for the link, I checked it out and am still digging through the archive. :D Love how she does it all on coloured memo sheets.
Have you ever had “Kiba”? I had that last time I was in Germany. Not as refreshing as Apfelschorle, but very sweet and tasty :3
Ooohh, yes I have! I was delighted when I had it the first few times and always had it not stirred (so there was actually no point of ordering one, might as well have ordered two glasses of juice haha). I don’t drink it as much anymore because the sweetness makes me more thirsty. :p But yummy indeed!
