So long as we have opinions, there will be people who hate them.
True that. Unfortunately Internet makes people attack each other’s opinions a bit too easily (and aggressively).
Are we talking about that video with a little black kitten standing up to big bad doggie?
Not one in particular actually, I’ve just seen a lot of (seemingly harmless) videos with massive flame wars in the comments section…
Cookery videos are worse.
Those poor eggs, I can’t believe he’d beat them…
Ahem. Tune in on Chinese cookery shows and there will be animal abuse (my mum watched them and was also shocked). Shrimps being drowned in sake, or skewered alive, etc… T_T In fact: http://mehblogcomic.com/?p=941 :p
I… may avoid watching those. x_x
Skewered alive AND put on hot coals while alive. Saw it on markets in Taiwan. Not a pleasant sight.
Apparently my parents went to a restaurant in Taiwan when they were freshly married, ordered something without knowing what it was, then literally ran out scared when the waiter fished a live turtle out of the aquarium next to them (they thought it was just a display). Seriously people, that’s so wrong. :<
Come to think of it, can you drown shrimps? They are water animals after all. But sake burns your throat when you drink it, so being submerged in sake must be hell anyway.
There’s no oxygen in there. XD But the shrimps were actually still alive, just, er, drunk I guess… and then still skewered. T_T
I use an excellent comment-blocking plugin for my browser so I don’t have to see youtube comments ever again. It’s done wonders for my blood pressure!
That’s a brilliant idea. I always try my best to ignore the comments section, but I do occasionally make the mistake of scrolling too far down and getting meaninglessly worked up over stupid comments. Hurumphnut!
always happens with me and SpOn forums.
That’s genius! :O
